6. Time travel to the future 


Time travel to the future is one of the things I always dreamed as a kid. Being in this "reality" where flying cars, robots and space travels are a daily thing in everyone's life, but now I'm not that excited.

Now, when I think about the future, I have two ideas about it. One is the near future where I would still alive and the second one is the distant future where I would never travel to. So, if I have the chance to travel, I would travel to 15 years to the future.

I would be almost 35 years old, probably travelling because of my work as a geographer. Knowing many places and countries has always been one of my dreams, so it would be great if that dream comes true and I know places like Torres del Paine National Park or Salar de Tara. That would be amazing, but if I have to stay or go back to my present, I would go back because I don’t want to lose experiences I could have in those years before my 35.


And the reason I would never travel to the distant future is because I literally imagine it like a Mad Max remake, where everything is dry and hot with no resources to live because of the climate crisis. It might sound pessimistic and chaotic, but who knows :(.

    Well, really who knows what happened in the future, nearby or distant, even years or many, I think that nobody can time travel to the future or past, but this don’t prevent dream.

1. A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT Mexico: history, food and beaches I think Mexico is one of the most interesting countries to go to. It has incredible cultures and beautiful places that I would like to visit.  The first places I would go to are the historic monuments. I love history and I know Mexico has many historic sites like Chichen Itza, Teotihuacan and Tulum. These sites are the heritage of pre-Columbian civilizations and now many of them are a world heritage site.   4. Why did I choose this university programme? For me, it was very difficult to choose a university program because I wasn't sure about what I wanted. In high school I used to enjoy all kind of subject but math, so I think this fact helped me to make a barrier and divide some programs. I knew that I will never study something like Engineer or Economy, so I search for programs like Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Education and History but any of them convinced me.  There was another barrier more than my hate for math (which now I think is very stupid because Geography has math and it is not that bad) which was my love for nature.
